Bitcoin options buy sell signals on your TradingView chart

Bitcoin never closes. It trades through the night, through Saturday and Sunday, and through Indian holidays. A 2 percent move can happen at 3 am while you sleep, and there is no opening bell to reset the day. Option buyers on BTC face that clock on top of the usual problem with options: the premium decays while you wait.

WizeBuySell's BTC Options Buying strategy gives bitcoin options buy sell signals on the TradingView 5-minute BTC/USD chart. It labels a CE or PE buy with the strike in US dollars, sets targets at fixed percentage steps from entry, and shows a trailing stop-loss live in a corner panel. You place the trade yourself, on the platform you choose.

How Bitcoin moves compared with Nifty

Nifty trades for six and a quarter hours on weekdays, and most of its big moves arrive at the open or around scheduled events. Bitcoin has no session. Volume rises and falls with the hours of the US and Asian markets, and the late-evening hours in India, when US trading is active, are often the busiest.

It is also more volatile. A 1 percent move in Nifty is a meaningful day; in Bitcoin it can take an hour. At an illustrative price of 84,000 USD, 1 percent is 840 dollars. That is why the strategy expresses its targets as percentages of the entry price rather than fixed points: the steps stay proportional as the price level changes.

Weekends deserve their own caution. Volume thins on Saturday and Sunday, and a thin market can jump further on a single large order. A position left open on a Friday night faces two full days of trading before most people are back at a desk.

What the labels and the panel show

Each entry is a coloured label on the signal candle: green for a CE buy, red for a PE buy, with the strike, for example "84200 CE BUY". Target hits appear as small labels at each percentage step, and a Final Exit label closes the trade. Where the trailing stop-loss is hit first, the chart shows a Trail SL label instead.

The panel in the top-right corner shows the live state: status (for example LONG (CALL)), the active strike, the entry price, the active trailing SL, the three percentage targets and the final exit. Because the panel updates as the stop-loss trails, you can check it at any hour without redrawing anything.

The levels are BTC/USD chart prices, not option premiums. The option you buy will move by a different amount, depending on the strike, time left to expiry and volatility. Past signals stay on the chart, so you can scroll back and check how the strategy behaved, including the trades that lost.

One trade from label to final exit

An illustrative CE buy with Bitcoin near 84,000 USD.

  1. 01

    The label appears

A green 84200 CE BUY label prints on the 5-minute candle. The panel switches to LONG (CALL) and shows the entry near 84,164 with the trailing SL below it.

  2. 02

    You decide on the option

On your platform, check that the 84200 CE is listed for the expiry you want, look at the bid and offer, and decide how much premium you are willing to lose.

  3. 03

    The 0.5% step

BTC reaches about 84,585 and the chart marks the first target. The trailing stop-loss in the panel moves up.

  4. 04

    The 1% and 1.5% steps

If the move continues, the next two steps are marked. Many trades stop short of these, and the trailing stop-loss closes them instead.

  5. 05

    Final exit

A Final Exit label ends the trade. The panel waits for the next CE or PE label.

Crypto risk, stated plainly

Crypto is not regulated by SEBI or RBI as a securities market in India. None of the exchange safeguards an NSE trader relies on apply here. The platform you trade on can go down during a fast move, halt withdrawals, or fail altogether, and that risk is separate from the trade itself. Choose it carefully; we do not recommend one.

Moves overnight and at weekends happen while you are asleep, and a stop-loss on a volatile, thinly traded hour can fill far from its level. The tax treatment of crypto gains and losses in India has its own rules, and working it out is your responsibility. We publish no accuracy figure, and nothing here is investment advice.

Bitcoin options for someone used to Nifty options

The vocabulary carries over. A CE gains when BTC rises, a PE when it falls, and a bought option can lose no more than its premium. Strikes are quoted in US dollars, and on the chart shown here they sit in 100-dollar steps close to the current price.

The contract details do not carry over. Expiries, contract size, what the premium is paid in and trading hours for the options themselves differ from platform to platform. Read the contract page on your platform before your first trade, and check that the strike on the label is actually listed there.

Questions about Bitcoin options

Which chart does the Bitcoin options strategy run on?

The BTC/USD chart on TradingView, on the 5-minute timeframe. You add the strategy to that chart on a Windows or Mac computer or in the TradingView mobile app. The labels, targets and trailing stop-loss are all BTC/USD price levels, and the strike on each label is in US dollars.

Does the strategy trade for me or connect to a crypto platform?

No. It draws on your TradingView chart and nothing more. You choose the platform, check that the strike is listed, and place the option order yourself. We do not recommend or partner with any crypto platform, and we cannot see or act on your account.

What are the 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% levels?

They are target steps measured from the entry price on the BTC/USD chart: the first at a 0.5 percent move, the second at 1 percent, the third at 1.5 percent, followed by a final exit. The trailing stop-loss moves as price moves. These are moves in Bitcoin, not in the option premium.

Signals come at night. How do people handle that?

The strategy runs round the clock, so labels print at 2 am as readily as at 2 pm. Most traders pick the hours they can actually watch and ignore the rest. If you do hold an option overnight, size it so that a large move against you while you sleep is survivable.

Is trading Bitcoin options legal and regulated in India?

Crypto is not regulated by SEBI or RBI as a securities market in India, so the protections of NSE trading do not apply. Rules on crypto are still evolving, and tax treatment is your responsibility. Read the current rules, ask a tax professional, and treat platform failure as a real risk before putting money in.
