We collect a small amount of personal data so we can run your trial, install the software, take payment and support you. This page lists what we collect, which tools touch it, and how you can see, correct or delete it.
1. Who we are
This website and the WizeBuySell software are operated by WizeBuySell, SCO 28, Sector 33-D, Chandigarh 160033, India. In this policy “we” and “us” mean WizeBuySell.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here. We also follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
2. What we collect
Details you give us
- Your name.
- Your phone number, which is usually also your WhatsApp number.
- Your email address.
- The segment you are interested in, such as Nifty, Bank Nifty, options or MCX.
- Your TradingView username, if you take the TradingView version.
- Billing details needed for a GST invoice, such as state and GSTIN if you provide one.
- Messages you send us by form, email, WhatsApp, phone or support ticket.
Details we record automatically
- The source of your visit: referring site and UTM campaign parameters.
- Device and usage data: browser, device type, screen size, approximate location from IP address, pages viewed and buttons clicked.
- Session recordings and heatmaps of how pages are used. Form fields are masked in these recordings.
- For licensing, an identifier for the PC on which the AmiBroker version is installed.
Payment data
Payments are handled by Razorpay. We receive payment metadata only: the amount, date, payment method type, status, and Razorpay order and payment IDs. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, netbanking password or any other payment credential.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your PAN, Aadhaar, demat or broker login, bank statements or portfolio details. Please do not send them to us. During a remote installation session we access your PC only with your permission, only while you watch, and only to install and test the software.
3. Why we use your data
- To set up and run your 2-day free trial, including calling or messaging you to arrange installation.
- To install, license and update the software, and to grant TradingView script access.
- To take payment, issue tax invoices and keep accounting records.
- To send service messages: alerts you have switched on, renewal reminders, update notices and replies to support requests.
- To tell you about plans and offers, where you have agreed to receive such messages.
- To understand which pages and campaigns work, and to fix problems on the website.
- To prevent licence misuse and fraud, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not use your data for automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
4. Consent and legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent. You give it when you submit a form, start a trial, message us or make a payment, and the purpose is stated at that point. Some processing also rests on legitimate uses the DPDP Act permits, such as complying with tax law or a court order.
You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. See section 10. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it, and it may mean we can no longer provide the trial or the software.
5. Tools and service providers we use
These companies process data for us, under their own terms and security standards.
- Google Analytics 4 measures visits, traffic sources and on-site events such as form submissions.
- Google Tag Manager loads and controls the measurement scripts. It does not itself build a profile of you.
- Microsoft Clarity records sessions and produces heatmaps so we can see where pages confuse people.
- Meta Pixel measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram adverts and helps show our adverts to relevant audiences.
- Resend delivers our transactional and service emails.
- Razorpay processes payments and refunds.
- WhatsApp, a Meta service, carries our trial, support and alert conversations with you.
- Our hosting and database providers store the website and customer records.
Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside India. We use them only where Indian law permits the transfer.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use essential cookies to keep the site working and to keep you signed in. We use analytics and advertising cookies, set through the tools listed above, to measure traffic and campaigns.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use the opt-out controls that Google and Meta provide. The website will still work with analytics and advertising cookies blocked.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the processors listed in section 5, and only as far as each one needs to do its job. We also share data with our accountants and auditors for tax compliance.
We will disclose data to a government authority, regulator or court where the law requires it. If the business is ever merged or sold, customer records may pass to the new owner under the same protections.
8. How long we keep it
- Trial and enquiry records: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer or ask for erasure sooner.
- Customer and licence records: for as long as your licence is active, and up to 3 years after it ends.
- Invoices and payment records: 8 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Support conversations: up to 3 years.
- Analytics and session-recording data: as per each tool’s retention setting, at most 14 months.
When a period ends we delete the data or strip it of anything that identifies you.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Customer records sit in access-controlled systems. Staff access is limited by role and logged, and passwords are stored only in hashed form. Payments run on Razorpay’s PCI DSS-compliant systems, not ours.
No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
10. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it and who we have shared it with.
- Correct, complete or update data that is wrong or out of date.
- Erase data we no longer need to keep by law.
- Withdraw consent to further processing, including marketing messages.
- Grievance redressal: have a complaint answered by our Grievance Officer.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.
To use any of these rights, email support@wizebuysell.com from the address or phone number we have on record, or use the contact form. We may ask a question or two to confirm it is you. There is no fee. To stop marketing messages, you can also simply reply “STOP” on WhatsApp.
You also have duties under the Act: give us accurate details, do not impersonate anyone, and do not file false or frivolous complaints.
11. Children
WizeBuySell is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and our terms of use require every user to be at least 18. If you believe a minor has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
12. Grievance Officer

13. Links to other websites
This site links to AmiBroker, TradingView, Razorpay, YouTube and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own. This policy covers only WizeBuySell.
14. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices or the law change, and the date at the top will change with it. If a change is significant, we will tell active customers by email or WhatsApp before it takes effect.
